Ultrasound chosen by the patient for personal or non-medical reasons does not include a formal diagnostic report and is not used for medical decision-making unless abnormalities are observed.

OUR PROCESS.
Working with us is straightforward and hassle-free.
1. Order
If you’re interested in elective ultrasounds only, skip this step. Otherwise, ask your medical provider to order the exam and send the order to us via fax, email, or our website. If you don’t have a provider, visit www.radiologyassist.com for a $40 virtual visit to obtain an ultrasound order.
2. Service
Schedule your ultrasound appointment. Typical durations are 15 to 45 minutes, with more complex scans taking up to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Paying out-of-pocket may save you money and time.
3. Diagnosis
Elective ultrasounds do not provide a diagnosis. For diagnostic exams, our board-certified radiologist will interpret results within 24 to 48 hours and send the report to your doctor. Urgent reports, like STAT infertility monitoring, will be sent immediately.
